Reviews about Walmart Supercenter

  • February 14, 2020, by Zane Lujan
Let me explain a little something here; I just got back home in Iowa after visiting my relatives in Lebanon for a month, and this store was my go-to shopping spot the entire time. Needless to say, but this place was better at customer service than the one store I have up here. The people that work here answered my questions, helped me look for what I needed when I asked, and even went as far to look up the item to see if it was available at the store and even directly walk me to the item’s location. There is something I do want to mention though that involves the problems I have with this store, and it’s not even the store’s fault or the people that work there, it’s the customers! A bunch of these customers are such self-centered, arrogant and mindless people. I feel so bad for the employees having to deal with them. Normally early morning or late in the evening do I hear customers yelling at the ladies at customer service because they don’t get their way. They just cause a scene and it’s just to terrible that, form what I gather, they eventually do, which I would guarantee more people are doing the exact same thing to these workers, and it’s just terribly disrespectful. More issues I had was the small children throughout the store crying their heads off constantly. I know it’s a commonplace for INFANTS, but children at an appropriate age where they should already know common decency? Practically nonexistent. It’s as if the parents don’t even care if the kids throw tantrums, as if the store is the only place it’s allowed. Older kids are no better. It normally occurred during slow periods of the night, but some groups of kids of varying age would wander around, make messes, needlessly ride motorized carts, and cause issues with the employees. I’m glad I was able to witness the security of the store handle them appropriately like adults as they should, and and got the punks out of the store. I’m sure these issues are somewhat commonplace in most stores, but it’s ridiculous how many of these good-for-nothing customers feel they should get away with treating these good people that work here. If you want a good example of customer service and dedication to one’s job, look in the grocery or in the electronics for the guy with the tie (I don’t know if he has other positions, those were mostly where I saw him at.). All I can say was he made my trip to Walmart worth it. I’ll be coming back to this store soon, and I’ll update my review if any changes happen. I can only hope for the best. But please, make if you plan to shop here, please don’t be as arrogant as some of the customers I’ve seen.
